Church of Saint Roch
The Church of Saint Rok is a relatively small church built way back in 1855. The church was built on Vela placa, and the altar, which is decorated with various statues, is especially attractive. The story related to the creation of this church in Punta is also interesting.
A local from Punta (Jakov Raguzin) had an apparition of St. Roch in a dream during the cholera era. St. Roko told him that the inhabitants of Punt will be saved from cholera if they build a church in honor of St. Deadline. Prompted by this, Mr. Raguzin donated the land for the construction of the Church of St. Rok, while the residents of Punt donated money.

Throughout history, the church has received numerous modifications, and it has been extensively expanded twice. The interior of the church, which houses a valuable altar and sculptures, is particularly attractive.
Many will say that the main altar of the church is one of the most beautiful baroque altars in the area of Kvarner. The altar was made by the Pauline monk and sculptor Paulus Reidl. Church of Saint Nicholas
The Church of St. Nicholas is one of the newer churches in the Punat area, and it was built with the aim of protecting sailors coming and going from Marina Punat. Namely, Saint Nicholas is the patron saint of sailors, so the sailors from Punt built a church in his honor at the very entrance to the Gulf of Punt.
The Church of St. Nicholas is located just a few meters from the sea and you will definitely come across it if you walk along the promenade by the sea. The interior and exterior of the Church do not hide some important historical details, although the church was built way back in 1911.
